The worst dad joke I can remember is when I went out to eat at a pizza joint with my parents years and years ago and the food came and my mom went to put salt on something, but noticed that all the condiment bottles on the table were empty.

So, shining gem that he is, my stepdad replies, "my God, we've been as-salt-ed!"

as i slide in 300 years late.....

back when i was in pre-school, i couldn't speak any english!! so i'd definitely struggle once kindergarten started, but my pre-school teacher went out of her way to make sure i was doing okay, and i'd usually just follow her around since i couldn't talk to anybody else, which she put up with like a champ. i was OBSESSED with the swings, so i'd drag her over there all the time -- and then one day, i said 'push me' in english to her!! lmao. so from then on, my english growth was explosive, and i had no problems with it

i was so young i don't actually remember her very well, but we still talk about her in my household because she holds a special place in our hearts, hehe
