my favorite teacher was my fourth grade teacher. she had a classroom with several tanks for turtles and fish and we got to take care of them. she also had a bunk bed and a giant palm tree! when it was reading time, we got to read there if we were behaved.

she also had the lil squishy halloween witch fingers in a tub and when we would read along in class, we could use them to get us more interested in reading! lol, baited.

at the time, i obviously didn't understand, but looking back, she wanted most of all to help the kids who didn't have great home lives and who struggled to do things a lot of other kids had the opportunity to easily learn. she was truly one of the few teachers i had who absolutely wanted to be there to teach kids and nothing else.

What a good story! It sounds like she was a very good teacher - the best teachers are always a little bit tricky, nihi. ♪

So this couple is vacationing in Russia, right? They're in Moscow- I'm sorry if you've heard this joke before. They're in Moscow visiting the Red Square and all that. Well, it starts getting cloudy!

The girlfriend is making noise about going back to the hotel and the boyfriend is making noise about staying out because 'it's totally not going to rain' and blah blah blah. They go back and forth about this for a while and she says something like, "We don't even know this place all that well. If it does rain, then today could be a bust."

So he's like, "Okay, fair, let's ask a local."

So they flag down this guard looking guy, right? His little name badge says that his name's "Rudolph" so the boyfriend goes, "Mr. Rudolph, sir, excuse me for a second. My girlfriend and I aren't from here, we missed the weather report, and we were wondering if you knew if it was going to rain today."

Well, Rudolph stares at them for a second, looks around the surroundings, looks up at the sky, does that thing where he licks his finger and measures the wind, and eventually shrugs and is like, "Nah, it's not going to rain."

And the boyfriend turns back to his girlfriend and he's like, "See? Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear."

...... Well, the set up was good... my manager keeps giggling at it.... Nihihi. That was pretty good.

my favorite character is rio ranger from your turn to die... honestly i'm such a sucker for sad kids with daddy issues. past that it's a lot of spoilers so i'll save you that, but he's a really charming and lovely boy who didn't need to suffer nearly as much as he did and i just want him to be happy and away from this game pls ty

I have so many favorite characters (long term loves like JJ from Yuri on Ice - or Louis from Beastars), but a new favorite is Chifuyu Matsuno from Tokyo Revengers. He's a little bit of trouble, but a general good guy who cares and loves his friends. He's also heckin' adorable and has a hairstyle I like. But I love a character who is both sugar and spice :D

Oh, he sounds like my classmate, Kurochin! He's just like that - when you first look at him, you think he might be big and scary, but he's soft as can be on the inside! He loves his little sister. I should give him a call....!

my forever favorite character is mion from higurashi no naku koro ni; she's a rather passionate girl who enjoys games and acts like a tomboy but is actually really, really soft and likes girlish things.

She sounds very sweet! It's good to get in touch with your soft side, sometimes... Though, maybe for me, it's getting in touch with my bad boy side, instead? Nishishi.

So my favorite character is Libra from Fire Emblem Awakening. My main reason is because he's the video game personification of do no harm, take no shit. He will heal someone and then turn around and get revenge... if said person wants them to. But if not, he'll just pray for them.

My favorite character right now is ~~Nie Mingjue~~ NAH, I talked about him enough during the last event. Imma talk up Jiang Cheng. *drops a huge dissertation on why he best character*

Eh I guess the TL;DR - His character, despite not being the main character (tho he is like 3rd main), he IMO has the most development and plot within the series. A characte who litterally just has it the worse: father cares about an adoptive servant boy more then his own son, his mother too stern due to the issues with the father, despite his best tends to be compaired to others often, whole sect gets the boot, gets a lip whip whip, a melt melt, gets dissed from the cool kids brotherhood club, has to raise a babu at a young age, totally gets ditched by everyone, tl;dr the saddest meow meow. It goes down slightly more and depending on your canon (with novel and animation having vastly different endings for him) its either :| or :(

But yes, tries his best, best parental figure in the whole darn series, honestly the one guy who despite having all the horrible stuff happen, seems to have his sht together?? even tho he doesnt know it fff... that and like the THINNEST waist, fattest lil hips, prettiest hair, cutest little potato fairy outfit 🥺 an actual meow meow. My little Nyaacheng....

but the short: Character with the good development and story, but also good looking 👌

im a big novel stan of all of the adaptations and gosh i love jiang cheng. darling angel. his relationship with wei wuxian is the most poignant thing in the series and the thing that fucked me up the most. you ever just think about how he's the only one who knows about the golden core thing. damn. siblings. whew. mxtx does such a good job with such complicated, intense, gray characters and relationships and thats why i adore her novels so much ;_;

My favorite character right now... I guess I can talk about Legoshi from Beastars. He is a very Good Boy... who is also a strong carnivore in a world where they are side-eyed by the herbivore citizens. I haven't seen all of Season 2, but I know that he is fighting his meateating-urges in order to be with the rabbit he loves. ;o;

Oh! I hope that Legoshi knows that rabbits are very fierce! Even if they're little, they can still bite and kick! I've got a pet rabbit, and.... as the leader of Ra*bits, of course, I'm an expert!

Loving a bunny is very rewarding, though. ♪ He sounds like an interesting character... as long as he's good to that bunny!

my favorite character right now is noi from dorohedoro - in general i really like characters that are good at what they do and she is Very Good at murdering people lol. she has a very strong personality and isn't shy about expressing herself which is very endearing. plus as a female powerlifter it makes me incredibly happy to see a character drawn to be both very beautiful and very physically strong. (also she's sexie and i love her)

So many good ideas, but in the end I went with treat... to talk about Kikuchi Tadashi. It would be a bit of a spoiler for the show to explain how excited I am that he textually embodies gay Catholic guilt. For now I'll say I like his attention to detail. He's just as fastidious as his cape-wearing parachuting partner, but has a strong sense of the society around him, hence the reaction to religion as well.

Oh, I have too many favorite characters, but one that climbed to the top of my list is Senku Ishigami from Dr. Stone!! For some background: in Dr. Stone, every human has been turned to stone for the past 3700 years, effectively setting the world back to the Stone Age. Until, that is, Senku manages to break out of the stone! He's a scientist with an insane amount of genius- you could call him a walking supercomputer honestly! He uses his knowledge of all things science to make the lives of everyone around him better, especially since survival is key in a post-apocalyptic setting like that. He's very encouraging to everyone, and he may seem cold at times, but he secretly really deeply cares for everyone.
