man, when i was in fourth grade my teacher was SUCH a positive influence on me, she was really encouraging when it came to my reading and writing and like, she even read my horribly embarrassing fanfiction that i gave her, and like... she was so nice about it, lmfsdf. she told me that i could turn it into an actual book someday and i never forgot that.
my other favorite teacher was my middle school math teacher who was this big, terrifying skin and bones man with a HUGE mustache who compared himself to darth vader, and sang that one rammstein song to us when he was trying to pump us up. he always acted like he was a mean person but he genuinely cared about all of us, and i remember a lot of times where when i was frustrated to the point of tears about math homework he'd shake my shoulder gently and be like "hey, don't cry, it's only math" which doesn't seem very comforting but, you know. it meant something, lol
